A client's wife's love of colors inspired the light and fresh palette we used to revitalize this historic home for their young family. Built in the late 1920's and early 30's, by a Texas oil family, the original materials were brought on site by rail. Each room was carefully refreshed while keeping any original architectural detailing intact. Two light fixtures thought to be original to the home and a pipe organ belonging to the mansion were honored as well. As part of the renovation of this historic home, all draperies were custom made and a mix of vintage and new furnishings were carefully selected. A ride in the original Otis elevator takes you to the third floor, Art Deco styled ballroom designed by the famous architect Kem Weber.
